School Profile

 

 

        Tinimbacan Elementary School derived its name from the name of community where the school is located. It is 50 meters away from the Provincial road of Banisilan-Libungan.

 

 

        The first school building in Barangay Tinimbacan was made of Cogon erected in 1982. It was two room building in which the materials were donated by the PTA spearheaded by the active Barangay Captain of the place in the person of Datu Umpat Talib.

 

 

        The area of school is only 1 hectare which is donated by Samia T. Abdullah.

 

 

        In 2002, Tinimbacan Primary School became complete elementary by its growing enrollment through the leadership of Pao M. Andal as Teacher In-Charge of the school.

 

 

        In 2005, Mrs. Pao M. Andal transferred to Salama Elementary School of Tinimbacan Elementary School and the responsibility of TIC left to Mrs. Ana Marie Vinluan-Tatao. When Mrs. Tatao assume as TIC of the school, the achievement of the children is simultaneously increased, and the parents actively participated and supported the school programs. The physical improvements are school seen in their concrete fence, concrete stage and concrete school office and additional two classrooms which was initiated by the school head.
